With the ability to download YouTube videos you can still watch your favourite videos or download kids’ entertainment shows to keep them happy on the go. Not only is the video available at any time on your phone, tablet, or laptop but it’s also ad-free. This is a great hack for me personally as am often travelling without an internet connection, but can still watch what I like without having to pay for YouTube’s own premium service where you can watch content offline.

How to Download YouTube Videos with Chrome?

Go to YouTube and find the YouTube video you would like to download.

Copy the YouTube URL link.

Type “YouTube Downloader” into a search engine.

Select your video format and click “Download“

The video will then download and can be opened at any time without an internet connection.

How to Download YouTube Videos with Firefox?

Open Firefox

Click onto the 3 horizontal lines in the top right-hand corner of the screen

Select “Add-ons“

Click “Find More Add-ons“

In the search bar on the right type “Easy YouTube Video Downloader Express“

Click “Add to Firefox“.

Browse to the YouTube video you would like to download

You will now see a “Download As:” icon in Green.

Select the format you would like to download the video as.

Choose the file name you wish to save as and download location.

Once downloaded, the file can then be watched at any time.
